Plum Amazing Forum Closed due to Spam

The Plum Amazing Forum has been closed due to spam. We used every method we could think of including captcha and it still did not stop the bots and hordes of people who want to register to get in the forum to put up spammy links, even though we disallowed any links in the forum years ago.

We ran it for a decade using PHPbb and it was great to user input in this fashion but perhaps this is just not possible anymore.
